Takeoff at 1400 meters directly bellow the sunny terrace of the Hochmut restaurant. Landing takes place in Dorf Tirol at 600 meters, next to the Hochmut funicular valley station.

Thermalflight from Hochmut (Red Line)
Using thermals to gain altitude an fly longer is an art of its own. Climb above mountains peak thanks to warm rising air, to witness the wild life from a bird’s-eye view is an unforgettable experience. All we need for a thermal flight is a clear and sunny day, the rest is done by the pilot.

Flight from Piffing (Yellow Line)
We will takeoff directly next to the end station of the funicular Meran 2000 at a high altitude of 2000 meters. This gives us a generous altitude difference allowing a long flight or a possibility of a freestyle experience – you want more adrenaline, just let us know. Landing takes place close to the valley station of the funicular Meran 2000 at 650 meters of altitude.

Franz has been flying for over 30 years with both paragliders and hand-gliders with as well as without motor. Flying tandem with passengers over 25 years and accumulating thousands of flights makes him one of the most experienced in the Alps. Thanks to all the airtime and weather observation his understanding of the Merano micro-climate is priceless. These skills make him forecast weather with higher precision than computer models. Additionally, Franz is the president of the Adlerhorst club ever since it was established 25 years ago.
Aaron, member of the Red Bull team, is the team leader of the Adlerhorst Tirol Fly club. Following the guidance of his father he started flying in his childhood, accumulating many thousands of flights both solo and tandem. Flying competitions since teenage he achieved many wins as well as an overall victory two Paragliding World Cups.

Isidor loves to be in the mountain or even better to fly above them. He is a Professional tandem pilot and flies more than 300 hours a year. If he is not in the air flying tandem, he is competing on the international paragliding scene, flying World Cups and flying big distances in the cross-country XContest competition.
